International Folk Alliance

We just received the best Thanksgiving gift ever! divineMAGgees has been accepted for an official showcase at the International Folk Alliance in Memphis, TN, in February 2007. How exciting! We must have picked a lucky turkey this year.

Indiegrrl Song Contest

We're also very excited to have won 3rd place in the Indiegrrl Song Contest. 'Little Black Crow' is the winning song. We're honoured to be chosen among some of the most fantastic women musicians on the scene (including our fabulous diva friend Rachael Sage). You can check out all the winners here: www.indiegrrl.com. Hot Compilation Cds

Looking for new music? We've just received our copies of GoGirlsMusicFest compilation Cd, which we're happy to be a part of (our song 'Trouble' is one of the tracks on the Cd). This compilation is rockin' -- music by some of the best women on the scene. GoGirls Music is a collaborative of women musicians that hosts showcases around the country and at the yearly Austin music festival, South by Southwest. Check out the compilation at the GoGirls Music website: www.gogirlsmusic.com .

We're also excited about a few other music compilations coming out soon that have included a divineMAGgees song: 'little black crow' will be featured on the New Arrivals cd by MPress Records www.mpressrecords.com (owned and operated by our fabulous friend and singer/songstress Rachael Sage), the Asheville Brown bag project by the French Broad Brewery and the Sirens' Muse sampler cd from WPVM Asheville. We'll let you know when those 3 are available...
