new music & Memphis road trip

2007 sounds and feels like a good one. It's been really nice hanging out in Asheville during this very weird spring/winter that we're having (75 degrees last week and 30 degrees today). Danielle and I have been hiding out, doing the 'behind the scenes' stuff that ultimately connects us and our music to you. And I am completely in love with the new songs that Danielle has been writing. The musical space we're moving into is enticing, mysterious and addictive. It's such an awesome experience to be able to share this passion and honesty with another person and with you. For now, you'll hear this new music at the live shows, but we have strong intentions to record early this year.

Alright, now that I've got the sentimental stuff out, I'm very excited to let you in on this next bit of news. As you may already know, divineMAGgees were selected for an official showcase at this year's International Folk Alliance being held in Memphis next month (coincidentally -- one of our new songs is called 'Memphis'). This is a great honour, and one that we are going to make the most of. I've designed a webpage specifically about this, so you can find out why this conference is so important to us and how you can help divineMAGgees be a grand success.

Thank you for all your support. And I really do hope to see you soon...
Sincerely,
Cregan
